Commonly Mispronounced English Words
Every pastor or public speaker should read this list. Besides subject-verb agreement, nothing sounds worse than to mispronounce words. I often hear pastors say "of-ten" rather than "offen" as the word often should be pronounced. I'm guilty of saying "close" rather than "cloTHes" for the word clothes. Good list.
