Centipede Pseudopods Using 240 fps I can see that the millipede groups its many legs into just a few cones – it uses these few composite pseudo feet to move forward, just as a creature with many fewer legs would use. All the legs appear to be "walking" at normal speed, but in slow motion you can see that they are all either in the process of joining together in a cone or moving apart to form the next one.
